Representatives Herod and Galindo, co-prime sponsors, presented House Bill 19-1152, concerning State Student Advisory Council member eligibility. Under current law, the student advisory council to the State Board for Community Colleges and Occupational Education is comprised of resident students. The bill removes the requirement that student members must be classified as in-state students for tuition purposes in order to serve on the advisory council.
