He clarified the amount of funding related to capital, and the impact of the bill on the committee's FY 2018-19 capital construction prioritization. Discussion ensued regarding the FY 2018-19 controlled maintenance request, the controlled maintenance outlook for future years, and the impact of recent funding efforts for controlled maintenance on ongoing need.
