introduced Senate Bill 21-148.  The bill creates the Financial Empowerment
Office in the Department of Law. The office is charged with growing the
financial resilience of Coloradans by expanding access to safe and affordable
banking and credit, and free individual financial counseling and coaching,
as well as developing stronger consumer protections.
