Senator Winter, sponsor, explained Senate Bill 21-001, concerning modifications to programs enacted to provide relief to certain businesses impacted by severe capacity restrictions due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Joslyn Reese, representing herself, testified in support of the bill.

Senator Winter explained Amendment L.001 (Attachment A), which regards local government and related forms.

Senator Winter made concluding remarks. 

Senator Pettersen introduced the confirmees to the Fire and Police Pension Association Board of Directors.

Senator Winter, co-prime sponsor, explained SB21-002, concerning modification of the limitation on certain debt collection actions enacted in Senate Bill 20-211.  Senator Gonzales, co-prime sponsor, made herself available remotely.

Tyler Jaeckel, representing The Bell Policy Center, testified in support of the bill.

Senator Winter explained Amendment L.001 (Attachment B), which removes requirements for dual notifications.

Senator Lundeen read a letter in support of the bill, as amended, into the record, and thanked the sponsors for their work on the bill.  

Senator Winter made closing remarks and answered questions from the committee. 

Senator Holbert, co-prime sponsor, explained Senate Bill SB21-003, concerning the recreation and reenactment, with amendments, of the "Occupational Therapy Practice Act", and, in connection therewith, reestablishing the licensing functions of the director of the division of professions and occupations in the department of regulatory agencies regarding occupational therapists and occupational therapy assistants.



He reminded the committee that this bill was introduced in the special session but was postponed indefinitely.
