and Senator Buckner, co-sponsors, presented House Bill 21-1304, which concerns
measures to establish a unified early childhood system in Colorado and
creating the Department of Early Childhood.  The co-sponsors distributed
amendment L.004 (Attachment A) and provided an overview of the bill.  Senator
Kirkmeyer distributed amendment L.007 (Attachment B).  Additional
written testimony can be found as Attachment C.  The co-sponsors answered
questions from the committee.
