Senator Moreno, bill sponsor, presented House Bill 20-1182 and House Bill 20-1205.  HB 20-1182l repeals the sales tax exemption for sales to residents of bordering states without a retail sales tax.  HB 20-1205 repeals the obsolete statutory provision which allows individuals, estates, and trusts to deduct Colorado pre-1987 net operating losses carried forward from tax years beginning prior to January 1, 1987 from their taxable income. This deduction was only available for 15 years, or until 2002.
