concerning Food and Drug Administration approval for certain types of cannabidiol
drugs.  The bill amends the definition of marijuana to exclude prescription
drug products approved by the federal Food and Drug Administration and
dispensed by a pharmacy or prescription drug outlet registered in Colorado.

auto dealers and manufacturers.  Public testimony on the bill was
heard on Monday, April 16, 2018. Senator Tate distributed Amendment L.018
(Attachment B).  The committee also received Amendments L.014, L.016,
L.019, and L.020 (Attachments C, D, E, and F).

18-236, concerning requirements of the sunrise and sunset review process.
 The bill requires the Department of Regulatory Agencies to presume
that consumers are sufficiently protected by market competition and private
remedies, and to create occupational regulations only where the department
finds credible evidence for a present, significant, and substantiated harm
to consumers.  Senator Neville also distributed Amendment L.001 (Attachment
H).
