Ms. Gilroy gave an overview of the RFP process for the C.R.S. publications contract and reviewed 2021 publications work that was just completed by the Office. 09:05:08 AM Senator Lee and Ms. Gilroy discussed the publications work and how many bills took effect from the 2021 session. 09:14:06 AM Senator Gardner and Ms. Gilroy discussed moving into executive sesion. Senator Lee echoed his thanks. 11:29:18 AM Representative Weissman also thanked Blue360Ë Media and LexisNexis for their proposals and stated his reasoning on why the Committee should select LexisNexis for the publications contract. 11:32:28 AM Motion I move that we direct staff to commence contract negotiations with the LexisNexis company to publish the C.R.S. and other publications, including but not limited to our session laws, pursuant to the RFP that was put out, to begin when the current contract ends, January 1, 2023, and to run for 5 years, and that once that contract is finalized that it be brought back to this Committee for review and final approval. Ms. Pelegrin suggested that the Committee may want to cancel its scheduled October meeting due to lack of agenda items and work on scheduling meetings for November and December.
