Jimmy Reed, Legislative Council Staff, gave a brief history of the committee's actions regarding the memorial to date. Kathryn Redhorse, Executive Director, Colorado Commission on Indian Affairs, discussed the importance of the memorial to the tribes and the State of Colorado.
