Cathy Lucas and Robert Bowen, representing Metropolitan State University of Denver (Metro State), presented and discussed a proposed plaque commemorating the 50th anniversary of Metro State to be placed in Room 227.
Mr. Bowen discussed the history of Metro State in the Colorado State Capitol building. He asked the committee to commemorate the fact that Metro State started in the Capitol.
Mr. McNulty asked questions about the commemorative plaque. Ms. Lucas said that the plaque will only recognize the 50th anniversary and future anniversaries will not be recognized. Mr. McNulty talked about the need to work with the Speaker of the House because the office is located in House office space.
