Kyle Rojas Legleiter,
Senior Director of Policy, Colorado Health Foundation, presented on the
results of the Pulse Survey conducted by the Colorado Health Foundation.
The presentation may be found in Attachment A.
Mr. Legleiter stated that the rising cost of living and housing were two
of the biggest issues facing Coloradans. He also discussed specific
challenges facing various demographics in Colorado, the rate at which Coloradans
are postponing medial and dental care and concerns about health insurance
coverage.

and mental health and substance use trends among Colorado youth.

Health Response, CDPHE, presented to the committee on monkeypox cases in
Colorado. The presentation can be found in Attachment C.
The panel discussed the demographics of Coloradans impacted by monkeypox,
testing procedures and capacity, symptoms of monkeypox, CDPHE's immunization
strategy, and community education efforts.
