Kevin Lindahl, representing the Fire and Police Pension Association (FPPA), distributed a handout (Attachment A) and gave remarks on Bill 1.

Mr. Lindahl outlined the provisions of Bill 1.

Representative Melton asked for sponsors.  In the Senate, President Garcia and Senator Ginal will be co-prime sponsors with Senators Danielson and Court as cosponsors.  In the House, Representatives Bird and Exum will be co-prime sponsors, with Representative Melton as a cosponsor.  The bill will start in the House.
