The commission discussed
amendments to the proposed standards.  The chair moved to amend Topic
1 Bullet Point 1 to say "Written classification system shall employ
a tool to inform placement at an appropriate security level. The tool shall
not be intentionally or inadvertently biased against any population such
as race, disability, sexual orientation, or gender identity, etc."
 The motion passed without objection.

The commission discussed the final standards for classification. Commissioners discussed topic 10: housing inmates participating in work or educational release programs separately from the general population. The commission continued discussion with topic 9: evaluating and selecting inmates for work while incarcerated.
