prime sponsor, presented House Bill 23-1007, concerning increasing the
homestead exemption for seniors, vetrans with a disability, and surving
spouses of vetrans with a disablity.  Representative Weinberg responded
to questions regarding portability of the homestead tax exemption under
the bill.

prime sponsor, presented House Bill 23B-1006, concerning the creation of
a task force to study eliminating all taxes except for sale and use taxes.
Representative Luck explained the effect of the bill and discussed its
need.  Representative Luck responded to questions regarding the feasibility
of funding state programming with state sales tax.
