Representative Danielson called the meeting to order.  Representative Singer, bill sponsor, presented House Bill 18-1045 to the committee.  The bill allows dental hygienists to apply silver diamine fluoride under the direct or indirect supervision of a dentist if the dental hygienist meets certain professional and educational criteria.

Sunset Review Hearing for the Colorado Advisory Council for Persons with Disabilities - Committee Discussion Only

Bryan Jameson, Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA), explained the process for conducting sunset reviews on advisory committees. A copy of a DORA report and a draft bill regarding the Colorado Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities were distributed to the committee (Attachment E and F).  Mr. Jameson described the functions and activities of the Advisory Committee for Persons with Disabilities.

Mr. Jameson explained the DORA recommendation to sunset the Colorado Advisory Council for Persons with Disabilities.
