The bill, recommended by the Legislative Oversight Committee Concerning the Treatment of Persons with Mental Illness in the Criminal and Juvenile Justice Systems (MICJS), modifies current law concerning funding and staff support for the MICJS task force. The bill allows state agencies to receive and expend gifts, grants, and donations to the task force and permits the Colorado Department of Human Services to provide staff assistance to the task force.
