Representatives Nordberg and Winter, prime sponsors, presented House Bill 17-1125, concerning eliminating the duty of the Division of Correctional Industries to provide certain services for the state's correctional facilities. Representative Winter provided background on the need for the legislation, and explained the bill's effect. Representative Nordberg provided additional input on the bill. Ms. Rosendahl provided further input on moving certain services away from the Correctional Industries program, and discussed the function of the program.
