Representative Wilson introduced House Bill 16-1105. The bill reestablished the voluntary contribution designation (income tax checkoff) benefitting the Make-A-Wish Foundation Fund. Moneys in the fund is used to grant wishes of children who have been diagnosed with a life-threatening medical condition.

Representative Becker, K. introduced Senate Bill 16-020. The bill, recommended by the Capital Development Committee, clarifies the timing of the depreciation equivalent payments that will be made pursuant to Senate Bill 15-211. The bill also clarifies the role of the Department of Higher Education in coordinating reporting equivalent payment calculations from institutions of higher education of depreciation.
