Representative Kraft-Tharp and Representative Thurlow introduced Senate Bill 17-280. Under current law, the Colorado Economic Development Commission in the Office of Economic Development and International Trade (OEDIT) is repealed July 1, 2017. The bill extends the commission until July 1, 2025. The bill also specifies that the commission may transfer General Fund money appropriated to it into the Colorado Economic Development Fund and may spend that money without further appropriation.
