Representative Hamner, sponsor, presented Senate Joint Memorial 17-001, concerning the need for Congress to fund catastrophic wildfire response costs. The memorial, recommended by the Wildfire Matters Review Committee, memorializes Congress fund the costs for catastrophic wildfire response outside the normal budgets for federal forest management agencies.
