She discussed the increased need for domestic violence services. 02:31:50 PM Scott Wasserman, Bell Policy Center, testified regarding the impact of the pandemic on Colorado's economy. He discussed how the economic recovery is varying across racial groups and by gender. He noted that caregivers are extremely strained and that income inequality has gotten worse during the pandemic. He further emphasized how lack of child care can exacerbate workforce shortages. He discussed the long-term outlook for declines in child poverty and the overall financial health of Coloradoans.
