Dr. Roy provided the committee with an overview of DEC's values, mission, and strategies. Additionally, Dr. Roy outlined the Department's legislative agenda. Ms. Odean provided the committee with the successes and intended improvements for the Universal Preschool Director. Ms. Cohen provided the committee with how the Department has been upholding its WIGs and and grant opportunities. Ms. Cohen also provided an overview of the Department's CCCAP program. Ms. Cohen also provided a review of the Department's stimulus funding implementation. Stefanik provided the committee with an overview of the Department's budget request.
