Methods to Increase the Use of Transit. For tax years 2024 through 2028,
the bill creates a refundable state income tax credit equal to 30 percent
of the amount spent by a taxpayer to purchase one or more passes. It also
creates the Youth Fare Free Transit Grant Program, makes changes to the
Ozone Season Transit Grant Program, and creates a statewide transit pass
exploratory committee.
