Senator Lee explained SB19-086, concerning updates to the laws governing business entities.  

Herrick Lidstone, representing the Colorado Bar Association, spoke in favor of the bill.  He explained the basis for the bill, the committees that worked on it, and the process involved. 

Mark Loewenstein, representing the Colorado Bar Association, testified in support of the bill.  He discussed the benefits of the bill, one of which combines two sections of law into one. He also explained that the bill incorporates a judge-made law.   

Senator Lee distributed and discussed Amendment L.001 (Attachment A),   Mr. Lidstone further explained that the amendment fixes a typographical error and broadens certain definitions.
