DHS; Pedro Almedia, Deputy Executive Director of Administrative Solutions,
DHS; Minna Castillo, Interim Deputy Executive Director of Community Partnership,
DHS; Christina Beisel, Budget Director; DHS; Clint Woodruff, Deputy Executive
Director of Financial Services and Chief Financial Officer, DHS; Kelly
Causey, Deputy Commissioner of Engagement, Behavior Health Administration,
DHS; Stephen Peng, Chief Financial officer, Behavior health Administration,
DHS.



Ms. Morrison provided the committee with an overview of the Department's
purpose, organizational structure, and existing programs. Ms. Morrison
also outlined the Department's WIGs.



Mr. May outlined the WIGs specific to his department. Mr. Perry also spoke
on the staffing shortages the Department has experienced.



Ms. Castillo outlined the WIGs specific to her department. Ms. Castillo
also touched on bills that came out of the child welfare interim committee.



Ms. Beisel provided the committee with information regrading the Department's
stimulus spending, budget request, and legislative agenda.



Mr. Almedia provided additional information to the committee regarding
the Department's budget request. A copy of the presentation and additional
materials were provided to the committee (Attachments L-O).

Mr. Peng provided the committee with information regarding the BHA's activities
and programs, organizational chart, strategies, stimulus funding,  and
budget priorities.

P and Q).
