Ms. Morrison provided the committee with an overview of the Department's purpose, organizational structure, and existing programs. Ms. Morrison also outlined the Department's WIGs. Mr. May outlined the WIGs specific to his department. Mr. Perry also spoke on the staffing shortages the Department has experienced. Ms. Castillo outlined the WIGs specific to her department. Ms. Castillo also touched on bills that came out of the child welfare interim committee. Ms. Beisel provided the committee with information regrading the Department's stimulus spending, budget request, and legislative agenda. Mr. Almedia provided additional information to the committee regarding the Department's budget request.
