The Task Force on 911 Oversight, Outage Reporting, and Reliability investigates other states' laws, rules, and practices concerning 911 oversight, outage reporting, and reliability; considers whether existing laws, rules, and practices in Colorado provide sufficient protection for the 911 needs of Colorado; and studies whether the current funding sources and amount of funding are sufficient for providing existing 911 service and transitioning to next-generation 911 service.
