Senator Simpson and Senator Bridges, co-prime sponsors, presented Senate Bill 24-037. The bill requires the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment to conduct a feasibility study and create demonstration projects of green infrastructure as an alternative compliance mechanism for water quality compliance. The sponsors discussed amendment L.001 (Attachment A) and responded to questions from the committee.
