Representative Brown,
prime bill sponsors, presented Senate Bill 24-124, concerning the
modification of state agency and department reporting requirements. The
bill modifies statutory reporting requirements for several state agencies
by eliminating certain reports, changing where certain reports must be
posted, consolidating certain reports, updating certain report schedules,
decreasing the frequency of certain reports, and changing the scope of
certain reports. Representative Brown provided a handout to the committee
(Attachment B).

the Department of Health Care Policy and Financing, testified in support
of the bill. Reilly Torres, representing the Department of Early Childhood,
was available to answer committee questions. The panelists responded to
questions from the committee.
