Concerning modifications to the conservation district grant fund.
Bill Summary:
The act repeals the provision that repeals the conservation district grant fund (fund) on December 31, 2022. The act also requires, on an annual basis:
- The state treasurer to transfer $148,000 from the general fund to the fund; and
- The department of agriculture to distribute $2,000 from the fund to each conservation district.
