Senator Holbert, bill sponsor, presented Senate Bill 22-076. The bill requires the Department of Regulatory Agencies to dismiss a complaint made against a person holding an occupational license, certificate, or registration if the complaint arises from wordssaid or actions committed while they were an elected official of the state of or political subdivision of Colorado or a member of a board or commission established by the state of or political subdivision of Colorado. Witness testimony on the bill was heard at the February 8, 2022 meeting.
