Representative Story, prime bill sponsor, presented Senate Bill 23-027, concerning funding of the Food Pantry Assistance Grant Program. The bill extends the potential for General Fund appropriations to the Food Pantry Assistance Grant Program in the Department of Human Services through FY 2026-27 and repeals the program on July 1, 2028. Representative Story responded to questions from the committee.
