Representatives Dickson and Lindstedt, co-prime sponsors, provided information on House Bill 23-1255 concerning preemption of local regulations limiting the number of building permits issued for development.  The bill indicates that there is a state interest in encouraging housing growith and forbids enactment of or enforcement of future local housing growth restrictions, except for in the case of a disaster emergency.  The bill sponsors provided a handout (Attachment A).
