The committee came back to order. Senator Kolker and Senator Cutter, co-sponsors, presented Senate Bill 24-049, which was on the table for action only. The bill concerns concerns the content of material available in libraries and requires notice of challenged material to be published on the internet, establishes a process for reconsideration of challenged material, and prevents discrimination in a library's displays, acquisition standards, public meeting spaces, and retention policies. The co-sponsors distributed and explained amendment L.007 (Attachment G).
