Retirement Association (PERA) job classifications for state employees whose
duties relate to wildfire mitigation. Effective July 1, 2025, the bill
modifies the definition of âstate trooperâ for PERA purposes to include
certain employees of the Department of Public Safetyâs Division of Fire
Prevention and Control. |
