The primary bill sponsor, Representative Amabile, introduced Senate Bill 24-093 to the House Health and Human Services Committee. If person is disenrolled from their health plan and starts receiving coverage from a new carrier for an existing course of treatment that meets select criteria, the bill requires the new carrier to cover the treatment as an in-network benefit for up to 90 days.
