Senator Gardner called the meeting to order.

Jerry Barry, Office of Legislative Legal Services, explained the First Report of the Second Conference Comittee (Attachment A) and discussed the reasons behind the formation of this second conference committee.  He explained that language indemnifying a sheriff was removed.  Committee members confirmed that the original intent of the bill to provide a remedy to property owners remained intact.
