Senator Coram, sponsor, presented House Bill 17-1102 to the committee. The reengrossed bill prohibits the nuisance exhibition of motor vehicle exhaust, known as coal rolling, in a manner that would harass and obstruct the view of another driver, bicyclist, or pedestrian. Violators commit a Class A traffic infraction punishable by a fine of $100.
