Shailen Bhatt, executive director of the Colorado Department of Transportation, introduced Karen Stuart. He spoke about her professional background. Ms. Stuart discussed her professional and political careers. She complimented the committee for their work on transportation issues during the legislative session. The members were provided with a packet of information about Ms. Stuart and her appointment to the Transportation Commission (Attachment A). She responded to questions from the committee.
