Representatives Roberts and Jackson presented Senate Bill 19-002 to the committee, along with amendment L.005 (Attachment F).  This bill requires entities that service student loans to be licensed by the Department of Law and creates the Student Loan Ombudsperson to assist student loan borrowers.
