Senators Cooke and Gardner, co-prime sponsors, explained that the bill relocates laws related to gambling payment intercept from Title 24 to Title 44 as part of the organization recodification of Title 12.
Amendment L.001 (Attachment D) was distributed to change the effective date of the bill to October 1, 2018.
