Senator Lee introduced Senate Bill 20-057. The bill requires the Division of Fire Prevention and Control in the Department of Public Safety to provide additional employee benefits to its firefighters and support staff, including insurance for certain heart conditions and cancers, as well as an increase pension benefit. The bill was recommended by the Wildfire Matters Review Committee. He responded to questions from the committee.
