Marijuana Accessory Consumption Establishments

Concerning authorization for an endorsement to an existing marijuana license to allow for a marijuana accessory consumption establishment for the purposes of consumer education, and, in connection therewith, making an appropriation.

Bill Summary

The bill authorizes each licensed medical marijuana center or retail marijuana store to establish one retail marijuana accessory consumption establishment (establishment) that may sell marijuana, marijuana concentrate, and marijuana-infused products for consumption, other than smoking, at the establishment. The bill contains requirements for obtaining endorsements, authorizing an establishment, and required actions and prohibited actions for persons operating an establishment.

Temporary Guidelines for Review and Comment Meetings

The legislature will meet in limited session on Monday, March 30th. The Capitol will be open for the duration of the session for those with essential business related to the session. The building will not be available for public tours. People without essential business are encouraged to access the session through the General Assembly website and Colorado Channel.  Anybody with essential business related to the session will be required to practice appropriate social distancing measures.
