Senator Baumgardner introduced Senate Bill 17-058, concerning the authority of certain individuals to purchase alcohol beverages for a premises licensed to sell alcohol beverages for consumption on the licensed premises. Under current law, only hotel and restaurant, tavern, and lodging and entertainment liquor licensees or the licensee's registered manager may purchase alcohol beverages for the licensed premises. Under the bill, an employee or agent of the hotel and restaurant, tavern, or lodging and entertainment licensee may also purchase alcohol beverages for the licensed premises.
