The committee discussed the complaint filed against Representative-Elect Soper challenging whether he should be sat as a member of the 72nd General Assembly.  Members of the committee noted that the complaint was not properly before them because various timelines in the complaint process had not been met.  Representative Neville discussed Representative-Elect Soper's response to the complaint.  Discussion by the committee continued regarding the complaint, the timeliness of the complaint, and the credentialing process.
