Speaker Becker called the meeting to order.
Roll call was taken and a quorum was present. The Speaker invited
Natalie Mullis, Director, Legislative Council Staff, to the table to provide
opening remarks. Ms. Mullis explained the Blue Book process. She
reviewed the various documents posted in the Legislative Council Box account
as well as those located in the binder of hard copy materials mailed to
members. She explained that the Executive Committee previously approved
the language to be included in the Blue Book regarding the fiscal information
for Proposition EE. Ms. Mullis talked about the Blue Book mailing
process and answered questions from the committee. The Legislative
Council Staff drafts, staff contacts, written comments submitted by the
public, interested persons mailing list, and the text of each measure can
be found on the Legislative Council Staff website here: http://leg.colorado.gov/BallotAnalysis
