Vance Brown, Chief Executive Officer, and Jenifer Furda, Chief Operating Officer, National Cybersecurity Center (NCC), provided an update to the committee about its organization. Ms. Furda discussed the NCC's plans to move to a new location in Colorado Springs in the next few months. Mr. Brown discussed the mission and roles of the NCC.

Mr. Brown responded to committee questions related to the NCC's Cyber Research, Education, and Workforce Development (CREW) program. Ms. Furda also discussed cybersecurity education programs offered to high school students. Mr. Brown further explained the NCC's role in promoting job creation in the state for cyber-related fields.

Mr. Brown discussed other initiatives currently being undertaken at the NCC, including block-chain technology. He also highlighted other states' recent funding in cybersecurity and future proposed programs for the NCC.
