Rep. Winter discussed the order of the calendar and the testimony procedure for the next two bills.  She stated that the sponsors would present both House Bill 18-1274 and House Bill 18-1297.  Then the committee would hear testimony on both bills before voting.

Reps. K. Becker and Bridges introduced House Bill 18-1274. This bill requires the statewide emissions of greenhouse gases to be reduced by at least 80 percent by the year 2050 compared to 2005 levels. It also requires Colorado to have statewide programs in place to meet the 80 percent target.
