Representative Hansen and Representative Landgraf, co-prime bill sponsors, presented House Bill 19-1316. The bill sets the minimum age for marriage at 16, and requires judicial approval of any marriage where a party is under the age of 18. Representative Hansen provided a handout to the committee (Attachment A).

Representative Sirota, bill sponsor, presented Senate Bill 19-154. The bill continues the regulation of psychiatric technicians by the State Board of Nursing in the Department of Regulatory Agencies, which is scheduled to repeal on July 1, 2019. The "2018 Sunset Review:  The Licensing and Regulation of Psychiatric Technicians" report was distributed to the committee (Attachment D).  Representative Sirota referenced a handout that she provided to the committee members prior to the meeting.
