Representative Kraft Tharp introduced HB 13-1350. The bill expands the definition of recovered materials under the machinery and machine tools sales and use tax exemption. Under the bill, recovered materials can also refer to scrap metal or end-of-lifecycle metals, which are remanufactured into new metal that meets the standards set by the industry for recycled commodities.
