Representative Rosenthal and Representative Wilson, co-sponsors, introduced House Bill 16-1287. The bill requires the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment (CDLE) to review rules and regulations within CDLE that may impact the establishment or integration or pre-apprenticeship and apprenticeship programs into Colorado businesses. CDLE will prepare a report, which will include recommendations based on this review and allow a period for public comment. Finally, CDLE will submit the final report and recommendations to the State Workforce Development Council to be included in their annual Colorado Talent report.

Representative Kraft-Tharp introduced Senate Bill 16-125. The bill allows the board of directors of a credit union, if authorized by the credit union's bylaws, to appoint an audit committee in lieu of a supervisory committee, provided the audit committee performs the statutory duties of a supervisory committee. A record of the names and addresses of the audit committee members is to be filed with the State Commissioner of Financial Services within 20 days of their election or appointment. The bill also allows a credit union to provide reasonable compensation to a director for his or her service.
